Uncle Kracker

Uncle Kracker, born Matthew Shafer on June 6, 1974, in Mount Clemens, Michigan, is an American singer-songwriter known for his blend of country, rock, and pop music. He first gained prominence in the late 1990s as a DJ for Kid Rock and contributed to Kid Rock's successful albums before launching his solo career.

His debut album, Double Wide (2000), featured the hit single "Follow Me," which reached the top of the Billboard Hot 100 chart. Uncle Kracker's subsequent album, No Stranger to Shame (2002), included the popular track "Smile," which also achieved significant commercial success.
